About Bluegrass Angel Fund

The Bluegrass Angel Venture Fund is a $2M venture fund comprised exclusively of investment from BGA members who have bought shares, University of Kentucky and Commonwealth of Kentucky.  The fund currently has an elected board and coinvests in deals that are subscribed by members of the Bluegrass Angels.

The Fund focuses on seed/early stage deals but is generally category agnostic.  In fact, a goal of the fund is to maintain a diverse balance among biotechnology, software, pharmaceutical, defense and industrial.   Generally, either a member of the Bluegrass Angels or one of the Fund's partners will take a board seat as part of the investment.
